Digital Asset Investment Products See Weekly Inflows of $882 Million, Led by the U.S. and Bitcoin

Digital Asset Investment Products See Weekly Inflows of $882 Million, Led by the U.S. and Bitcoin

Digital asset investment products enjoyed a week of robust capital inflows, collecting an impressive net inflow of $882 million over the past seven days, according to fresh data from CoinShares.

This momentum continues to build, bringing month-to-date (MTD) figures to $2 billion and year-to-date (YTD) totals to $6.72 billion.

The United States once again took the lead, reporting weekly inflows of $840 million. Germany followed with $44.5 million, and Australia contributed $10.2 million. In contrast, Canada, Sweden, and Hong Kong all saw net outflows, with Sweden reporting the largest weekly withdrawal at $12 million and a YTD outflow of $725 million.

Bitcoin Reclaims Investor Confidence

Among digital assets, Bitcoin continued to be the dominant player, registering weekly inflows of $867 million and reaching MTD inflows of $1.95 billion. It now boasts an impressive $146.2 billion in assets under management (AUM), rendering it by far the most institutional digital asset among digital asset investment products.

Meanwhile, Ethereum posted more modest weekly inflows of $1.5 million but has accumulated a YTD total of $553 million, suggesting more muted but consistent institutional interest.

Sui Emerges Among Altcoins

In the realm of altcoins, Sui had a standout week with inflows of $11.7 million. On the other hand, Solana faced outflows of $3.4 million, and Chainlink saw no new inflows, continuing a YTD outflow of $124 million. Multi-asset products and short Bitcoin strategies also experienced ongoing outflows, hinting at a preference for directional, long-only strategies.

iShares ETFs Take the Lead

Among asset managers, iShares ETFs (BlackRock) reported the largest weekly inflows at $1.03 billion, contributing to a staggering YTD total of $8.13 billion. Fidelity Wise Origin and ARK 21 Shares also showed healthy weekly inflows of $62 million and $46 million, respectively.

On the flip side, Grayscale Investments saw the largest weekly outflow at $168 million, adding to its YTD net loss of $1.58 billion. Bitwise and 21Shares AG reported moderate outflows.

Overall Market Sentiment

This surge in inflows—especially into Bitcoin and U.S.-based products—suggests a strong rebound in investor sentiment, which had faced earlier volatility. The bar chart included shows how recent activity has mirrored the levels last seen during Q1 2025 highs.

This influx of capital into digital asset investment products signals a vote of confidence from institutional investors, particularly in Bitcoin and the U.S. market. With traditional finance giants like iShares and Fidelity managing large volumes and pivoting towards crypto, the data underscores the maturing market that is increasingly integrating digital assets into mainstream portfolios.
