Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has announced native support for USD Coin (USDC) on Aptos (APT).

The integration, which was announced in an email shared with Finbold on Tuesday, May 27, allows users to trade USDC and earn Aptos’s native token, APT, directly through Bybit’s platform.

The move comes as part of a broader effort to increase stablecoin adoption, according to Ash Pampati, Head of Ecosystem at the Aptos Foundation.

Aptos is a Layer 1 (L1) blockchain designed for real-world financial applications and the integration with Bybit will make it possible for users to trade USDC and earn APT directly through Bybit's platform.

APT is the native token of the Aptos blockchain, and users can stake it through Bybit's On-Chain Earn feature to earn daily rewards and help secure the network.

To qualify for the Bybit x Aptos Super Event, users can stake APT through Bybit's On-Chain Earn platform and hold their position for at least 24 hours.

This qualifies new and existing users for a share of 5,000 APT.
