As the price pivots within these large structures, there is a play of resistances and supports. A key support level is at $68,800, an area where the bulls in the market might begin another move up unless there is a closure below it.

This retracement in price follows a strong struggle that Bitcoin made above the level of $71,500, which saw the cryptocurrency making a new high for the week at $71,896 before the digital coin succumbed to a price correction, moving down below the $70,000 mark and testing the 50% Fib retracement level of its rally from the $66,046 low to the $71,896 high.

Further in the market, the next key level resistance is at $70,500. A breakout through this barrier could add momentum to the Bitcoin price, allowing it to move higher, perhaps enabling it to test the next resistance at $71,200. The bullish scenario might see a move up to the $71,800 resistance zone, paving the way for a rally towards the next resistance at $72,500.

However, if Bitcoin fails in its attempt to move past the resistance at $70,000, the cryptocurrency may continue moving down. An immediate support line can be seen at the level of $69,000, with the major support emerging at $68,800. Another support line is parallel to this one at $67,420 or the 76.4% Fib retracement of its rally up from the $66,046 swing to the $71,896 high, which becomes a critical point as further depreciation may lead the price towards the $66,000 support zone in the near term.

As a result, the major support levels are hedged at $69,000 and $68,800 while the critical resistance levels are seen threatened at $70,000, $70,500, and $71,200.
