Binance Launches StakeStone (STO) HODLer Airdrop Targeting BNB Holders

Binance, a renowned cryptocurrency exchange, is set to launch the StakeStone (STO) HODLer Airdrop, marking the 17th project in its highly successful HODLer Airdrops program. This airdrop targets BNB holders who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) or On-Chain Yields products.

The snapshot window for determining eligible users and their average BNB holdings is from April 27, 2025, 00:00 (UTC) to April 29, 2025, 23:59 (UTC). The eligible users will be receiving their STO token directly in their Spot Accounts, an hour before the spot trading begins.

The airdrop size is 15 million tokens, which will be distributed to the users in proportion to their average BNB holdings. A maximum of 4% of the total average BNB holding will be considered for the airdrop calculation. If any of the user’s holding exceeds this ratio, it will be adjusted down to 4%.

The formula used to calculate the number of STO tokens each eligible user will receive is:

The minimum average BNB required to be eligible for the airdrop is 1 BNB and the total number of STO tokens that will be distributed through this airdrop is 15 million, which is 1.5% of the total token supply. Another 15 million tokens will be used for carrying out marketing campaigns later.

During listing on Binance, the circulating supply will be 225,333,333 STO which will be 22.53% of the total supply. The STO token will be listed on Binance at 16:00 (레벨4) on May 2, 2025, with trading pairs available against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.

The users will be able to start depositing their StakeStone STO tokens two hours before the trading opens. The token will also be carrying the Binance Seed tag, indicating its new listing status. STO smart contracts are deployed on both BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum.

There is no listing fee for STO and to make sure that there is a fair distribution, the maximum BNB holding considered per user for the airdrop calculation has been capped at 4% of the total average BNB holding. If any of the user’s holding exceeds this ratio, it will be adjusted down to 4%.

How HODLer Airdrops Work

The HODLer Airdrops program rewards BNB holders based on hourly average balances, which are calculated from random snapshots during the eligibility period. The rewards are earned simply by subscribing to Simple Earn or On-Chain Yield and users become eligible for these airdrops, with no further action required.

Next Steps

The airdrop page will be made live on the Binance Airdrop Portal within hours. STO deposit opens two hours before the spot trading begins and STO will be removed from Binance Alpha Market as soon as the spot trading is live.
