한국은 약물 개발에서 인공 지능 (AI)의 사용을 촉진하기위한 협의 회의를 개최합니다.

이 회의는 경제 재무부 및 기타 관련 정부 기관의 공무원들과 함께 Daewoong Pharmaceutical을 포함한 주요 제약 회사들과 함께 모여 들었다.

South Korea is aiming to become a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, with a focus on promoting the use of AI in drug development, in response to the intensifying global competition in the bio-health sector, the Ministry of Economy and Finance said on Thursday.

한국은 목요일 경제 및 금융부에 따르면 인공 지능 (AI) 기술 분야의 글로벌 리더가되기 위해 약물 개발에 AI의 사용을 장려하는 데 중점을두고 있다고 경제 및 금융부는 목요일 밝혔다.

The ministry held a consultative meeting with private sector stakeholders to discuss ways to foster an environment where AI can be effectively utilized in drug development, Yonhap news agency reported.

Yonhap News Agency에 따르면, AI가 약물 개발에 효과적으로 활용할 수있는 환경을 조성 할 수있는 방법을 논의하기 위해 민간 부문 이해 당사자들과 협의 회의를 가졌다.

Officials from the ministry and other relevant government agencies attended the meeting, along with executives from major pharmaceutical companies, including Daewoong Pharmaceutical.

사역 및 기타 관련 정부 기관의 공무원은 대원 제약을 포함한 주요 제약 회사의 임원들과 함께 회의에 참석했습니다.

The meeting served as a platform to listen to the challenges faced by the pharmaceutical industry and to explore directions for public-private cooperation in promoting AI-based drug development and effective data usage, the Ministry said.

이 회의는 제약 산업이 직면 한 문제를 듣고 AI 기반 약물 개발 및 효과적인 데이터 사용을 촉진하는 공공-민간 협력의 지시를 탐색하는 플랫폼 역할을했다고 밝혔다.

The global AI biotechnology market is expected to grow over 19 per cent annually, reaching $7.75 billion by 2029, while South Korea currently ranks third in the world in the number of AI bio-related patent applications.

Global AI Biotechnology 시장은 연간 19 % 이상 성장하여 2029 년까지 775 억 달러에이를 것으로 예상되는 반면, 한국은 현재 AI 바이오 관련 특허 출원의 수에서 세계에서 3 위를 차지하고 있습니다.

"AI is rapidly permeating the entire biotechnology industry," the finance ministry said. "It is emerging as a core technology across areas, such as new drug development, protein structure prediction and design, and gene therapy."

금융부는“AI는 전체 생명 공학 산업에 빠르게 침투하고있다”고 말했다. "새로운 약물 개발, 단백질 구조 예측 및 설계 및 유전자 요법과 같은 영역에서 핵심 기술로 떠오르고 있습니다."

The ministry stressed that countries are now in fierce competition to preemptively secure AI capabilities and apply them effectively in the bio-health field.

In particular, AI-powered drug development is revolutionizing the traditional pharmaceutical research and development process, the ministry said.

특히, AI 기반의 약물 개발은 전통적인 제약 연구 및 개발 과정에 혁명을 일으키고 있다고 밝혔다.

Meanwhile, South Korea plans to pour 60 billion won (about $40.4 million) by 2028 to expand infrastructure for the development of materials and components technologies crucial for advanced industries, such as AI, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy said on Thursday.

한편, 한국은 2028 년까지 AI, 무역 산업 및 에너지와 같은 첨단 산업에 중요한 재료 및 부품 기술 개발을위한 인프라를 확대하기 위해 2028 년까지 600 억 원 (약 4,400 만 달러)을 쏟을 계획이다.

The investment will be used to build research facilities and equipment for the development and testing of technologies related to materials and components essential for AI, advanced bio, and other future industries, the ministry said.

이 투자는 AI, Advanced Bio 및 기타 미래 산업에 필수적인 재료 및 구성 요소와 관련된 기술의 개발 및 테스트를위한 연구 시설 및 장비를 구축하는 데 사용될 것이라고 밝혔다.

In particular, the government will support the construction of infrastructure for the development of core materials for next-generation AI chips, messenger RNA-based drugs, and others, the ministry said.

특히, 정부는 차세대 AI 칩, 메신저 RNA 기반 약물 등을위한 핵심 재료 개발을위한 인프라 건설을 지원할 것이라고 밝혔다.
