Solana Mobile is getting ready to launch its new mobile phone, the Seeker, and a platform called TEEPIN. The company says the phone will ship on August 4 and will be powered by a new ecosystem token called SKR.

"Current mobile ecosystems weren’t built for the web3 economy. Users have a clunky experience and limited access to real innovation. Devs are stuck playing by arbitrary rules and pay exorbitant fees," said Emmett Hollyer, General Manager of Solana Mobile.

Solana Mobile's new phone, the Seeker, will be powered by the Solana blockchain and will feature a built-in crypto wallet and a decentralized app store. The company says the phone will be able to process payments in USDC with no processing fees and will allow devs to deploy dapps on the phone at a low cost.
