「建設マスター」として知られるシャーマン、チョン・ソンベ氏に逮捕状請求

ソウル南部地検は18日、前日逮捕されたチョン容疑者に対して逮捕状を請求したと明らかにした。

Prosecutors have requested an arrest warrant for Jeon Sung-bae, a shaman better known as "The Construction Master," on suspicion of receiving money disguised as a "nomination donation."

検察は「建設マスター」として知られるシャーマン、チョン・ソンベ氏に対し、「指名寄付」と偽って金銭を受け取った疑いで逮捕状を請求した。

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 18th that it had requested an arrest warrant for Jeon, who was arrested the previous day for violating the Political Fund Act.

ソウル南部地検は18日、前日政治資金法違反容疑で逮捕されたチョン氏に対して逮捕状を請求したと発表した。

The prosecution's investigation began after detecting suspicious funding conditions related to Jeon while looking into the flow of funds for "Queen B-coin," a scam coin (fraudulent virtual currency) that was promoted to be invested by actor Bae Yong-joon. The prosecution is also investigating whether Jeon attempted to launder illegal funds with the coins.

検察は俳優ペ・ヨンジュンが投資を宣伝した詐欺コイン（詐欺仮想通貨）「クイーンBコイン」の資金の流れを調べているうちに、チョン氏と関連した不審な資金調達状況を把握して捜査を開始した。検察はチョン容疑者がコインを使って違法資金洗浄を試みたかどうかも捜査している。

During the 2022 presidential election, Jeon was suspected of intervening in interests by showing off his friendship with the president and his wife as an active member of the Yoon Suk Yeol candidate's campaign. He is also known to have served as an advisor to Kobana Content operated by First Lady Kim Gun-hee.

チョン氏は2022年大統領選挙期間中、ユン・ソクヨル候補の選挙運動の積極的な一員として大統領夫妻との友好関係を誇示し、利権介入の疑いを受けた。キム・ゴンヒ大統領夫人が運営するコバナコンテンツの顧問を務めたことでも知られる。
