As a result of the mainnet launch, OKX's extensive user base of 50 million can seamlessly withdraw tokens from the exchange to its Ethereum-connected layer 2 network, enabling them to engage with decentralized applications (DAPPs) on-chain.

Data from CoinGecko indicates a surge in the value of OKX's platform token, OKB, which serves as a payment mechanism for network gas fees. OKB has experienced a 14% increase in the past 24 hours, currently trading at $59.15. This surge coincides with OKX's emergence as the third-largest cryptocurrency exchange by 24-hour trading volume, surpassing $5.2 billion and trailing only Binance and Bybit.
