MapleStory Universe is a new chapter in the future of the 23-year-old MMORPG IP, expanding with blockchain technology. The game, which is an integration of MapleStory IP and blockchain features such as NFTs, on-chain item mechanics, and open marketplaces, is powered by its proprietary NXPC token.

Through a model known as the Fusion-Fission model, players can redeem NXPC for collections of NFTs (Fission) and exchange collections of NFTs back into NXPC (Fusion), creating a self-balancing system that ensures the token's supply is limited to support long-term value.
