Chattogram, April 17 - In a significant development, approximately 500 acres of government-owned land (khas land) is poised to be transferred to the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) at a nominal price for the construction of the much-anticipated 'Bay Terminal'.

This request was made in response to a previous demand from the district administration in January 2022, which sought Tk 3,600 crore for the land.
