Crypto startup InputOutput (IO) is adding Cardano support to the Brave browser. The integration will see Brave’s crypto wallet gain the ability to handle ADA and other native Cardano tokens.

The partnership will also see IO take responsibility for adapting the Brave wallet to include Cardano’s features and take advantage of the privacy features within the Brave Browser.

This integration marks a new stage in the partnership between the two companies, which began in 2020 with the launch of a limited-edition version of the Brave browser to celebrate the Cardano genesis launch.

Earlier this year, Brave began adding support for other major blockchains, beginning with Ethereum. The integration saw Brave users gain access to several DeFi protocols and dapps from the browser.
