The son of a Border Security Force (BSF) sub inspector, who was killed in Pakistani firing in Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday expressed that people should not trust Pakistan and that it should be replied to in its own language.
Earlier in the day, the body of Mohammed Imtiyaz, arrived at Patna airport where RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, state BJP president Dilip Jaiswal, several ministers and senior administrative officials paid tributes to the soldier.
The BSF sub inspector was killed when his unit posted along the international border in RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir came under heavy Pakistani firing on May 10. He was a native of Narayanpur village in Saran district. His last rites were performed with full state honours at his native village.
As the mortal remains of the soldier were being laid to rest, people at his burial said that Pakistan could not be trusted and should always be paid back in the same coin.
The martyred BSF sub inspector`s son, Mohammed Imran, said, "I am proud of my father`s supreme sacrifice and I pay respect to all those bravehearts, who lost their lives while defending unity and integrity of the country. Pakistan is killing Indian soldiers by deceit, as wives are losing their husbands and sons are losing their fathers.
"Pakistan should be given a reply in its own language so that supreme sacrifices of martyrs do not go in vain. I will now spend my life with memories of my father who made supreme sacrifice for the country and I will feel proud of being called the son of a martyr. Instead of relying on Pakistan, India should give a befitting reply to it so that soldiers do not need to make supreme sacrifices time and again," he said.
Aftab, a relative of Imtiyaz, said, "Everyone is proud of Imtiaz for the supreme sacrifice. He was very keen to join the armed forces. I have seen him working hard to get selected."
