The 2025-W $50 Proof American Buffalo Gold Coin launched on May 8 with four-day sales of 2,661, ranking fourth among the Mint’s weekly top sellers despite its $4,240 price. Following a drop in gold prices, the coin’s price was adjusted to $4,190 on Monday.

In its latest report, the U.S. Mint published sales data for 548 numismatic products. Of those, 50 outperformed their prior weekly totals, down from 116 in the previous report. One product saw a week-over-week gain of more than 1,000 units, compared to two in the earlier period.
