Returning to Auckland after ten years

After nearly ten years, I flew from Shanghai for more than ten hours and returned to Auckland. This time walking on familiar yet unfamiliar streets, what I felt most deeply was the "change" - not just the weather and street scene, but the entire environment. In this video, I talked about some of my own observations while walking: New Zealand's "hell-level" employment difficulty, changes after the wave of Chinese buying houses more than a decade ago, the decline in the consumption and investment capabilities of the middle class, the continued depreciation of the New Zealand dollar, and why it makes sense to be "short on New Zealand" in economics.
