In this video I cover how to get started with mining crypto on your Linux install. I primarily focus on the Debian-based Pop, Mint, and Ubuntu distros. I'll walk you through downloading and configuring xmrig and the Monero wallet as well as the Exodus wallet. I cover setting up your configuration of xmrig and how to use Unmineable to get your Doge Coin mining up and going. Now, I know there's a lot of click-bait out there offering promises of becoming a millionaire "by just following these quick mining tips!" I think we both know they're full of BS and you're not going.... there's a very small chance you're going to get rich mining crypto on your Linux machine. So, this is more of a guide to have a little fun and learn how to do something you may not have known before. And, it further demonstrates what Linux can do. Anyway, enough chatter, thank you for watching and I hope you get something of value out of this!
