That being said, it has divided the Borderlands community into 2 groups, the Infinity Haters, and the Infinity Glazers. So today I am here to actually put it to the test and see. Today we ask Can You Beat Borderlands 2 with ONLY Infinity. Now this isn’t going to be some basic playthrough, we are going to be doing this on the highest difficulty of the game to truly test its viability. If youre unfamilier with Over Power 10 or Ultimate vault hunter mode and are here for the nostalgic rotating barrels, it pretty much just means enemies have 4x health and health regen, oh and theyre all 10 levels higher than us. As for the other rules BAR will not be allowed and The Infinity Is the Only Gun I’m allowed to use. Good thing for us though is that the infinity can come in plenty of elements like fire, shock, corrosive, and slag. Ahem and slag. Uhh hey editor put the slag infinity on scree- oh oh okay well that’s weird. welp since gearbox thought a slag infinity would be to strong were gonna do this run the way they intended so NO SLAG ALLOWED FOR THIS RUN! Anyway, as for our other gear we will be using the Vault Hunter relic for a chance at funny drops, a basic shield, and the Legendary Gunzerker classmod, which means yes we will be playing as Sal for maximum Infinity spam and the legendary Gunzerker helps us gunzerk pretty much constantly so get ready to infinimax. Anyway, 1 last thing before we get started, these things can produce a lot of flashing lights that can be be pretty brutal on the eyes, and while I would have loved the extra challenge of eye strain I decided to use a mod that reduced the amount of screen flash for youre guys’ sake. That being said the flashes are pretty strong in some spots so Epilepsy warning RIGHT HERE! Alright with that out of the way lets get into the run. Our journey began by mag dumping the local bullymongs and the infinity was working grea- oh never mind theres a bullyrot GG. Real talk though, the infinity was working but it was exactly efficient. Healthbars didn’t feel like healthbars, they felt like watching a download progress bar. But the infinity was killing things, sure I had to pretty much put my barrels in their eyeholes and give them the infinity lobotomy but we were making it work. It didn’t take long to clear out tutorial town and meat Hammerlock but it did take a while to wait for Claptrap to escort us to Boom Bewm. Anyway, after he lowerd the bridge we got to fight Boom Bewm. The firs step to winning this fight was luring Bewm to the back alley and start dancing around him until his death was fully downloaded, and after that we hopped up on Booms turret and started giving him daily dose of kitchen mixer to the face. We almost lost the 1life when some birds decided to mess up my mojo but we clutched up and and took Boom down. After shooting a giant and totally legit infinity at Claptrap and the gate blocking my way, I made my way through Captain Flynts bandits and started getting the hang of this mobbing thing.
