ZetaChain Expands Its Mainnet to Include Arbitrum, Opening Up Its Features to Over 50 Million New Users
Apr 16, 2025 at 11:50 pm
Starting now, over 50 million ARB users can access ZetaChain's features without switching networks or using external bridges.

ZetaChain, a platform that aims to simplify the development of decentralized applications (dApps) that work seamlessly across multiple blockchains, has announced the addition of Arbitrum to its mainnet.
This integration provides Arbitrum’s 50 million users with direct access to ZetaChain’s features for universal smart contracts, which can interact directly with blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana without the need for switching networks or using external bridges.
"We are excited to welcome Arbitrum to the ZetaChain ecosystem. This integration marks a significant step forward in our mission to make it easier than ever to build dApps that work flawlessly across multiple chains," said Ankush Kahol, co-founder and CEO of ZetaChain.
"Arbitrum is a leading Layer 2 solution known for its speed and efficiency, and we are glad to offer this benefit to developers and users who can now deploy dApps with optimal performance and low fees."
ZetaChain’s system is designed so that applications do not need to adjust their logic for each new integration, which minimizes development time and maintenance while maximizing efficiency.
"We are always looking for ways to make it easier for developers to build great applications and for users to enjoy them," Kahol concluded. "This integration with Arbitrum is a testament to that commitment."
Arbitrum users will now have the opportunity to use ZetaChain’s smart contracts to create multichain solutions and move assets across blockchains without needing to perform token wrapping or multi-step swaps.
The system eliminates common friction points such as network switching or signing multiple transactions, offering a streamlined experience for managing digital assets and interacting with dApps across different protocols.
ZetaHub, the ecosystem’s access portal, already provides full support for Arbitrum, enabling users to check balances, provide liquidity, or transfer assets from the network without leaving the platform.
According to DappRadar, ZetaHub currently serves over 500,000 monthly users and processes hundreds of thousands of transactions daily.
For developers, this integration makes it possible to start building apps with native Arbitrum support from day one, without needing to rely on third-party solutions or adapt existing dApps to integrate with each new blockchain.
dApps launched on ZetaChain automatically gain access to Arbitrum’s users and assets, facilitating the rapid adoption and expansion of decentralized solutions.
