Zeeve Expands Its Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) Capabilities to Support Tezos Smart Rollups
Jun 07, 2024 at 09:49 pm
Zeeve recently broadened its Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) capabilities by incorporating support for Tezos Smart Rollups

Blockchain infrastructure company Zeeve has announced the addition of support for Tezos Smart Rollups to its Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) offering. This enhancement is designed to simplify the adoption and management of Layer 2 solutions for businesses, ultimately improving operational scalability and efficiency.
Tezos Smart Rollups are engineered to provide decentralized applications (dApps) with a unique blend of scalability, security, and adaptability, all while preserving the decentralized nature of the blockchain. Zeeve's RaaS platform is equipped with a low-code approach to deploying these rollups, empowering businesses to customize and optimize their blockchain applications with minimal technical complexity.
Commenting on the partnership, Head of BD at Trilitech Siddharth Singhal noted that the collaboration with Zeeve strengthens the Smart Rollup infrastructure of Tezos, presenting a crucial step in realizing the blockchain's vision of fostering innovation and growth within the web3 space.
On the other hand, Dr. Ravi Chamria, Co-founder and CEO at Zeeve, highlighted the challenges involved in launching and managing fully-fledged rollups. He pointed out the rapid adoption of L2/L3 rollups, which necessitates Tezos smart rollups, but also acknowledged the significant time and resources required by developers to launch their own rollups. By partnering with Tezos Smart Rollups as a RaaS infrastructure provider and node operator, Zeeve aims to alleviate these burdens with low-code deployment tools, comprehensive monitoring, and enterprise SLAs, ensuring a seamless onboarding process that fosters high participation standards and accelerates success for all Tezos developers.
Zeeve's platform boasts a comprehensive suite of tools for rollup management, including a deployment platform, a management dashboard, and 24/7 monitoring, all underpinned by a robust node infrastructure. This entire system adheres to stringent standards, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and GDPR, to guarantee optimal performance and security.
Enhancing Collaboration Within the Tezos Ecosystem
This strategic development is poised to foster collaboration within the Tezos ecosystem. In a related announcement, Zeeve has also partnered with Etherlink, a non-custodial Layer 2 blockchain that leverages Tezos Smart Rollups technology. As part of this collaboration, Zeeve will provide node-as-a-service capabilities to enhance Etherlink's deployment, management, and scalability solutions.
Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Singhal emphasized that Etherlink's approach to decentralized governance and low transaction costs, coupled with Tezos' robust security features, marks a significant milestone in the collective journey towards a more decentralized and efficient blockchain infrastructure.
Capitalizing on Growing Demand for Layer 2 Solutions
The expansion into Tezos Smart Rollups marks a strategic initiative by Zeeve to capitalize on the burgeoning demand for Layer 2 solutions, which are becoming increasingly essential for businesses that wish to harness blockchain technology without compromising performance or adding undue complexity.
