A picture shared by Keith Gill, the financial analyst and YouTuber better known as Roaring Kitty, has been used to promote an upcoming meme token.
What Happened: On Saturday, Gill shared a picture of a player with red tape on their forehead.
In response, another Crypto X (formerly Twitter) user shared pre-sale details for the $Kitty meme token and suggested people buy before launch.
This X user has a user name similar to the official Roaring Kitty username.
Here people also need to know that already some meme tokens inspired by Roaring Kitty youtuber trading in the crypto space, which are also not backed by Keith Gill.
