A new Trump meme coin promotion is turning heads in the crypto world

President Donald Trump is offering a private dinner for the top 220 investors in his $TRUMP cryptocurrency.
President Donald Trump is offering an “intimate” private dinner with the top 220 investors of his $TRUMP cryptocurrency.
The announcement was made on the official Trump coin Telegram channel on Wednesday, April 24. It quickly grabbed the attention of crypto watchers.
The crypto token has shot up in value. It is now trading at $11.76, according to data from Crypto.com at 07:07 ET. That is up more than 50% over the past 24 hours.
Organizers said they will be scooping up the 220 largest $TRUMP investors for the dinner on May 22 at an undisclosed location. They are also promising a VIP tour and reception to the top 25 coin holders.
“We will be in touch with the winners to arrange the dinner and the private meeting with President Trump.”
Organizers said they would announce the names of the dinner attendees on April 27.
They added that they planned to donate $50,000 of the collected crypto to charity.
It comes as Trump has become increasingly involved in the crypto sphere.
Earlier this year, he discussed his vision for the U.S. to become a crypto capital.
He was also spotted at the DUMIX crypto summit in March, where he chatted with attendees about Bitcoin (BTC).
