When asked by reporters on Monday to comment on the bill, Trump said:

>”I hope they will. I've asked them to do it. It's got to get passed. It's a big, beautiful bill, and they should pass it immediately.”

The bill, which Trump first announced in February, will make deep cuts to social programs like Medicaid and food assistance in exchange for modest reductions in the federal deficit over the next decade.

It has received pushback from moderate Republicans, who will be key to passing the bill in the House of Representatives.

BTC Price Today: A Slight Increase

Despite this, BTC has already shown a positive reaction to this news as it continues to stay solid above the $105K mark and inch closer to its all-time high of $109K.

According to data from CoinGecko, the world's largest cryptocurrency increased by 1.6% over the past 24 hours and a whopping 22% over the past 30 days.

The cryptocurrency is also trading at a staggering $106K, with a 24-hour trading volume of over $9.5B and a market capitalization of around $2.05T.

Crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun announced on X yesterday that he’s the top holder of Donald Trump’s $TRUMP cryptocurrency and has earned an invitation to the president’s gala dinner on Thursday.

“I’m the No. 1 holder of $TRUMP with 19,999 tokens and have been invited to President Trump’s gala dinner on Thursday at 7 PM,” he wrote.

Sun, who is also the founder of the Tron Foundation, holds $18.6M worth of $TRUMP. The ‘official meme coin’ of POTUS, $TRUMP has raised eyebrows for its potential for corruption and foreign influence.

Despite concerns, 250 of its biggest holders, many of them top players in crypto, will have the privilege to sit down with Trump for dinner, with the 25 holders getting VIP reception.

At press time, $TRUMP is changing hands at $938.67, down 1.02% for the 24-hour period.
