The objective is to educate on the adoption of the largest stablecoin and demonstrate real use cases. The program will be launched in Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Mobile-first digital wallet, Valora, has partnered with Tether to launch a global learning program on the use of the stablecoin USDT on the Celo blockchain.
The program will be launched in Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey, and Vietnam.
The aim is to educate on the adoption of the largest stablecoin and demonstrate real use cases.
Tether, the crypto company behind the largest stablecoin, is expanding its presence in emerging markets through a new partnership with the mobile-first digital wallet, Valora.
Together, they will launch a global learning program on the use of the stablecoin USDT on the Celo blockchain.
The program will be launched in five countries: Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey, and Vietnam.
The objective is to highlight the adoption of the stablecoin and demonstrate real use cases of USDT on Celo, an emerging Ethereum Layer-2 and mobile-first blockchain network.
Celo was built for the real world and designed for fast and low-cost payments around the globe.
The program will be available through the Valora mobile app, where users in emerging markets will be introduced to the use of stablecoins.
Participants will gain practical experience and earn rewards in digital assets, which they can immediately use to save, send, or receive funds globally within the Valora wallet.
The program also aims to simplify the Web3 experience, making it easier, faster, and cheaper to carry out transactions with USDT on Celo.
“We are transforming the way people relate to money, especially in unbanked communities.
This collaboration with Valora on Celo allows individuals to experience the power of stablecoin technology in real and everyday situations, enabling them to participate confidently and effortlessly in the global economy.
We are excited to be part of this educational program, which highlights the essential role of stablecoins in promoting stability and financial inclusion on a global scale.”
The Valora Learning Program will use the Valora mobile application to introduce users in emerging markets to the use of stablecoins, providing them with an essential introduction to USDT.
Through interactive learning modules, participants will be able to gain practical experience and earn rewards in digital assets, which they can immediately use to save, send, or receive funds globally within the Valora wallet.
The program also aims to simplify the Web3 experience, making it easier, faster, and cheaper to carry out transactions with USDT on Celo.
In general, the most common use cases of stablecoin include remittances, payments, value holding, earning, and staking.
“The mission of Valora is to unlock financial opportunities by providing access to the global digital economy, especially in emerging markets where the untapped potential is still enormous.
Education is an empowerment and, by collaborating with Tether on Celo, we provide individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate and take advantage of the digital economy.
Through a mobile-first approach, we are making cryptocurrencies accessible, easy to use, and directly relevant to the daily lives of people around the world.”
