Tama Meme, a Meme Coin Launchpad, Is Now Live on Ronin

Created by Moku, a developer with backing from Ronin creator Sky Mavis, Tama Meme is part of Ronin's continued expansion under “Operation Leviosa”

A meme coin launchpad known as Tama Meme, which enables users to create new tokens in a matter of clicks, is now operational on Ronin, the gaming-focused Ethereum sidechain.

Tama Meme is a part of Ronin’s continuing expansion under “Operation Leviosa,” which aims to broaden the previously curated Ronin ecosystem and include more games, applications, and decentralized finance platforms. It was created by Moku, a developer who is supported by Sky Mavis, the creator of Ronin.

The platform functions similarly to Pump.fun, the Solana token launchpad that has enabled the creation of millions of new tokens, including Fartcoin, which is now among the top 100 crypto tokens in terms of market capitalization.

Users can either purchase an already-created token from the launchpad or follow a few easy steps to create their own token for a cost of 1 RON (currently $1.65) by selecting an image, ticker, and token name.

After being created, the tokens are put on a bonding curve and begin to trade on a decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Ronin blockchain, gradually increasing in market cap with each buy until they “graduate” and become available for trading on Katana.

Tama Meme has enabled the creation of 7,000 tokens that are now present in almost 60,000 total Ronin wallets, according to data from a Dune dashboard created by Game7 DAO data analyst Joshua Dear.

A variety of tokens have been created thus far, ranging from riffs on Axie Infinity’s Smooth Love Potion and prominent members of the Ronin community to new memes like the CuteAsianGirl (CAG) token, which has attained a market cap of $4.3 million, as reported by GeckoTerminal.

Tama Meme is conducting a Ratz Race competition with over $40,000 in RON and NFT prizes to commemorate the launch.

Ronin is an Ethereum network that is popular for gaming and is used by games like Axie Infinity and Pixels.

The chain will also welcome the migration of the basketball game Rumble Kong League, which is supported by Steph Curry and is now being transferred from Avalanche as part of the Open Ronin program.
