The Chiefs will play in their third consecutive Super Bowl after defeating the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship 32-29. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 245 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 43 yards and two scores.

After this year’s NFC Championship, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni praised quarterback Jalen Hurts for his play. “First and foremost everything good in our life comes from God, so thank God for that,” Sirianni said. “How about our quarterback? How about our quarterback?!? He’s a stud. I knew he was going to play that way. I knew it. Don’t doubt him. All he does is win.”

“Well we just took it a play at a time,” Hurts said. “I can’t do any of those things without the guys around me, the preparation we put in. What a run it’s been. We’ve got to finish it.”

A big reason the Eagles are playing in the Super Bowl is Barkley. In his first season in Philadelphia, the former Penn State star rushed for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns in 16 regular season games. He is the ninth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season.

“I can’t lie, it’s amazing,” Barkley said during an interview with FOX after the Dallas Cowboys game in December, per NFL.com. “It was fun being out there with those guys, and to be able to do that. I wouldn’t be able to do it without the O-line, the wide receivers, the tight end. At the end of the day, the most important thing was to be able to get the win and clinch the division.”
