Sun Ge Moves 72 Million TUSD To Four New Addresses
Sep 27, 2024 at 05:58 pm
Sun Ge, known for his significant crypto movements, recently transferred 18 million TUSD coins from his wallet (0x9FC...c19Fe) to a new address.

Significant crypto movements were observed from Sun Ge's wallet (0x9FC…c19Fe), as he recently transferred 18 million TUSD coins to a new address. This development comes shortly after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced a settlement with TrueCoin LLC and TrustToken Inc., companies involved with the TUSD stablecoin.
The SEC alleged that the companies misled investors by claiming TrueUSD was fully backed by U.S. dollars when it was not, and that they engaged in risky investments with the funds. The settlement involved a $700,000 fine for the companies, who agreed to the penalties without admitting or denying the allegations.
Accusing them of mishandling investor trust, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has settled charges with TrueCoin and TrustToken over the stablecoin TrueUSD ( $TUSD ), which the SEC says was not fully backed by $USD and involved in risky investments.

Sun Ge's transfers, which total 72 million TUSD to four new addresses, have drawn attention due to the large amount of TUSD remaining in his original wallet, which is valued at approximately $175 million. Initially, the wallet contained 247 million TUSD, leading to speculation about his intentions.
The timing of these transfers coincides with the SEC's announcement, which could indicate that Sun Ge is positioning himself ahead of potential market shifts. Given the stablecoin's involvement in controversy, some investors might be expecting volatility, which could pave the way for shorting opportunities. However, it is not clear whether Sun Ge's move signals a direct short strategy or simply a strategic reallocation of assets.
As the market keeps a close eye on TUSD following the SEC's actions, Sun Ge's massive transfers could either be a cautious repositioning or a calculated bet against the stablecoin. Time will tell whether this is a prelude to further market maneuvers, with investors watching closely to see what his next steps might indicate about the broader market sentiment surrounding TUSD.
