Stellar (XLM) Token Skyrockets by Over 33% From a $0.1898 Low to a $0.2541 High in the Past 24 Hours

As of 11:00 AM UTC on Monday, Stellar retraced its price back to $0.24, locking in 25% of its gain in a day. At the same rate, XLM is up by above 119% in a week

Stellar (XLM) soared by over 25% on Monday after hitting a new record high of $0.2541. The token’s price surged by 33% from a $0.1898 low in the past 24 hours.
After hitting a high of $0.2541, Stellar’s price retraced back to $0.24 by 11:00 AM UTC on Monday. This locked in around 25% of its gains in a day. At the same rate, XLM is up by over 119% in a week, 151% in a month, and 105% in a year.
Stellar’s one-day trading volume also fell to 30% but still managed to move $2.03 billion of its tokens across wallet addresses. At the same time, the market cap of XLM’s 29.94 billion circulating supply rose to $7.31 billion. This drove its volume/market cap ratio to 28.14%, indicating a high level of liquidity for the crypto asset.
Stellar's All-Time High and XRP Links
Stellar's all-time high of $0.9381 was recorded on January 4, 2018. This was also around the same time XRP hit its all-time high of $3.84.
Over the years, Stellar's price movements have closely followed XRP's trends, making XLM's price action somewhat predictable. In this case, XRP's positive developments have also trickled down to Stellar's favor.
A one-week price comparison of the two digital assets shows how XRP and Stellar prices tend to move in tandem. XRP's renewed investor interest, Ripple's advances in vying for broader institutional adoption of the XRP Ledger (XRPL), the impending conclusion of Ripple's court cases, and the expected crypto-friendly regulatory climate in the US' next administration are getting factored into XLM's value.
Macroaxis, an AI-powered wealth optimization platform, also noted a very high three-month correlation between XLM and XRP. With a score of 0.96, the two tokens exhibited almost no diversification. However, the system revealed that Stellar had the tendency to generate 1.32 times more return on investment than XRP. That would also mean the same level of volatility in the crypto asset.
Apart from its links to XRP, Stellar has also been enjoying growing adoption on its own. The blockchain network for smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi) is being used to tokenize a variety of real-world assets (RWAs).
Stellar is now the second-largest blockchain for RWA tokenization by market cap. According to rwa.wyz data, the network currently has $393.2 million in tokenized assets. This is next to Ethereum's (ETH) $1.6 billion in tokenized treasuries.
