SSV.Network Breaks $2 Billion Milestone in Ethereum Staking

Apr 30, 2024 at 10:23 pm

SSV.Network, a staking infrastructure provider, has reached a significant milestone of $2 billion in total value locked (TVL) in its Ethereum staking module. The number of validators using SSV's technology has doubled to over 19,000 within 30 days, securing over 568,000 ETH with less than 400 node operators. SSV's Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) allows multiple parties to operate a single validator, reducing single points of failure and minimizing the risk of slashing.

SSV.Network Surpasses $2 Billion Milestone in Ethereum Staking

New York, April 28, 2024 - SSV.Network, a leading provider of staking infrastructure for the Ethereum blockchain, has announced a significant milestone: $2 billion in total value locked (TVL) within its Ethereum staking module. This represents a doubling of its TVL over the past 30 days, and a significant expansion of its network of partners and depositors.

The SSV.Network protocol currently secures over 568,000 Ethereum (ETH) with approximately 400 node operators, including major retail staking providers. SSV's Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) solution is designed to provide any staking application with access to a globally distributed network of highly performant node operators.

"Reaching $2 billion in TVL is a testament to the strength and reliability of our distributed validator technology," said Alon Goren, CEO of SSV.Network. "We're proud to be a major player in the Ethereum staking ecosystem and to contribute to the security and decentralization of the network."

SSV's DVT eliminates single points of failure by allowing a single validator to be operated by multiple parties, reducing the risk of slashing and providing an additional layer of security for staked ETH. This technology has been instrumental in strengthening ETH staking and increasing the overall resilience of the Ethereum network.

Integration with Ether.Fi

In addition to reaching the $2 billion milestone, SSV.Network has also partnered with Ether.Fi, a leading restaking platform. Through this partnership, Ether.Fi has integrated SSV's DVT into its platform, decentralizing its staking operations and increasing its fault tolerance.

"Integrating SSV's DVT technology has allowed us to significantly enhance our staking operations," said Mike Silagadze, CEO of Ether.Fi. "Our partnership with SSV has enabled us to continue our commitment to decentralization while maximizing rewards for our users."

As of press time, Ether.Fi has onboarded nearly 2,000 validators to SSV.Network, adding $200 million to its TVL.

Growing Network

SSV.Network's rapid growth and the increasing adoption of its DVT solution come amid a growing trend towards restaking mechanisms. The company has been actively expanding its network of partners and is targeting a total of 20,000 validators using its technology by April 2024.

"We believe that distributed validator technology is the future of Ethereum staking," said Goren. "Our goal is to make staking accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical expertise or financial resources. We're confident that SSV.Network will continue to play a major role in the growth and development of the Ethereum ecosystem."
