Spot Ether ETF Approval Probability Increased to 75% by Analysts

Spot Ether ETF Approval Probability Increased to 75% by Analysts

The US Securities & Exchange Commission might approve two applications for Spot Ether ETF products by the end of this week. If approved, the Ether ETF products will become the second market product after Spot Bitcoin ETF.

Meanwhile, there are growing calls for a Spot Solana ETF in the market. While not everyone supports the idea, SOL holders and enthusiasts are optimistic about its possibility and potential benefits.

However, two challenges could delay the introduction of a SOL ETF. Firstly, Solana does not yet have a futures ETF, which would typically be a necessary step in the process. Secondly, the Commission has classified SOL as a security rather than a commodity, which adds to the complexity of having an SOL ETF.

On the other hand, some parties oppose the idea of a separate crypto ETF. For instance, Hunter Horsley, CEO of Bitwise Investment, believes that there is no need for it. He points out that their 10 Crypto Index Fund already provides broad exposure to top cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Solana, and Ethereum.
