SpoonOS Partners with FLock.io to Democratize AI Training

SpoonOS is designed to help developers build productive AI agents that participate in on-chain applications.

SpoonOS, an agentic operating system, has announced a partnership with FLock.io, a decentralized AI training platform.

The partnership will see SpoonOS developers gain access to FLock.io’s decentralized AI training infrastructure. The two teams will also work together to explore the development of the SpoonOS Agent Interoperability Protocol, which is intended to enable seamless communication between SpoonOS agents.

What is SpoonOS?

SpoonOS is an operating system designed to empower developers to build productive AI agents that can participate in on-chain applications. The framework is incubated by Neo Global Development and features a blockchain-agnostic design.

The framework is designed to support the development of both general purpose and specialized models. While many general purpose models are already available, specialized models or fine-tunes of existing models can help to improve the accuracy and usability of agentic solutions.

What is FLock.io?

FLock.io is a decentralized platform that aims to democratize AI training by providing a collective space for users to build and iterate on AI systems together.

The platform is positioned as a response to the risks of centralizing AI development in the hands of a few large entities that control the data pipelines and model outputs. This centralization reduces transparency, increases the risk of bias, and limits public input into the direction of AI systems, according to FLock.io.

Through the AI Arena, users may contribute across the full lifecycle of AI development by providing data, defining the models they wish to see, performing training or finetuning, evaluating models, or simply delegating tokens to contribute to the collective effort.

Those who contribute to the Arena earn FLOCK, a TestNet token for FLock.io which is currently deployed to the Base network.
