Solana (SOL) is Rocketing Toward $200 – But One Cryptocurrency Could Disproportionately Benefit
May 15, 2025 at 12:30 am
input: Solana is rocketing toward $200 – but one cryptocurrency could disproportionately benefit from the bullish wave: Solaxy ($SOLX), the world's first Solana layer 2 blockchain.

Solana is known for its scalability: high speeds, low fees, and a seamless user experience. But during periods of peak network activity, even Solana struggles to keep up.
The network is capable of processing 6,500 transactions per second (TPS). However, in instances such as when Donald Trump launched his meme coin on the network or when there’s a sudden spike in transaction volume, Solana validators cannot handle the incoming demand, leading to transaction throughput slowing down and failure rates increasing.
This is where Solaxy comes in. Its layer 2 blockchain will uplift Solana’s transactional capacity, providing an additional 10,000 TPS. Solaxy will be cheaper, faster, and more reliable than Solana.
But this isn’t just about ensuring Solana can operate during periods of peak network activity; it’s about unlocking the ecosystem’s full potential.
Solana has 78 million active users in the last month, over 34 million more than the next most active blockchain, Near Protocol.
With such an active community, Solana is the perfect launching ground for developers and builders to test new applications.
For example, much of the AI agent bull run that occurred in Q4 of 2024 took place on Solana. Meanwhile, multi-trillion-dollar asset managers Franklin Templeton and BlackRock moved their tokenized money markets to the chain this year.
That’s not to mention the endless stream of meme coin and DeFi apps that launch on the network.
But with Solaxy’s heightened transactional capabilities, developers will have even more agency to create breakthrough applications without worrying about creating network congestion.
It’s a setup that could birth Solana’s next batch of breakout apps.
Expert says $SOLX to 100x as Solana price soars
Solana and its broader ecosystem are on fire right now. Prices are up across the board. Solana currently trades at $183, its highest price since mid-February.
Meanwhile, Solana-based meme coin Moo Deng has gained a jaw-dropping 992% this month, and Goatseus Maximus is up 290%.
Liquidity is pouring back into the Solana ecosystem, and lower-market-capitalisation tokens are seeing unprecedented gains as a result.
But with Solaxy boasting a robust use case and rapid presale momentum, all signs point to the project outperforming this year.
Therefore, analysts are tipping it for huge gains. For instance, experts from Cryptonews believe it could give up to 100x returns after launching on exchanges.
Last chance to buy $SOLX at $0.001724
Price hikes will occur throughout the Solaxy presale, incentivising investors to act quickly. The next increase will occur in under two days, leaving investors with little time to secure the current price of $0.001724.
Investors are also incentivised to get in early through the project’s staking mechanism. This feature lets users lock up their $SOLX tokens in the presale and earn passive rewards.
Currently, staking offers a 114% APY, but this will decrease as the staking pool grows.
With the Solana ecosystem scorching hot, Solaxy’s strong use case and current discounted price could well prove one of this cycle’s most lucrative opportunities.
Follow Solaxy on X or join its Telegram for updates. Alternatively, visit its presale to buy and stake tokens.
