Sleep Token Are Reportedly Working on a New Album to Be Released This Year

Worshipping fans are hungry for more. And Sleep Token may be satiating that hunger sooner than they think.

Sleep Token fans, rejoice! The band is reportedly working on a new album, set to be released this summer.

According to Impericon, the masked collective have been in the studio putting together their third and fourth full-lengths, with the third expected to drop in time for Sleep Token's headline performance at Download festival in June.

“We’re already on album number three and album number four should be out by the time Download comes around,” said Andy Copping, the festival's founder. “It’s going to be a meteoric rise for them across the globe, not just the UK.”

Sleep Token debuted in 2016 with their single "Thread the Needle," and quickly gained attention with their cover of OutKast's "Hey Ya." The band members remain anonymous, performing under stage names and wearing masks to conceal their identities.

Last year, the group completed a European tour with American memecore artist Bilmuri, and also performed with Linkin Park—now fronted by Dead Sara's Emily Armstrong—and Bad Omens in November, as reported by Rocksound.tv.
