How to Open the Safe in Room 206 in Silent Hill 2
Oct 06, 2024 at 05:00 am
A puzzle that might catch you by surprise — especially considering you can't actually escape it once you're in there — this brain teaser requires a bit of environmental searching. In this Silent Hill 2 guide, we're going to reveal how to get the Room 206 Safe puzzle solution.

To open the safe in Room 206 in Silent Hill 2, you'll need to find three pieces of the safe code, which are hidden in the graffiti on the walls and ceilings. The order of the code is given by the riddle on the wall:
Right where the rooftops pierce through the night
Left are homebound footprints with no owner in sight
But has he found home, oh, please pray tell
Or a river of memories leading right to his hell
This tells us that the first part of the code is on the right, the second part is on the left, and the third part is in the center.
The safe code pieces are a bit more prominent than the other graffiti, so they're not too hard to find. You'll find "11" along with a set of waves in the corner, the number "13" on a set of houses, and then a "7" next to a set of footsteps leading to a single home. This gives us a safe code of "11", "13", and "7".
Putting the numbers and directions together, we have the following safe code solution:
Left 11
Right 13
Center 7
Use this on the safe and it'll unlock to reveal the Man Coin and the Steel Key. The latter can be used on the locked door to leave Room 206.
