Real Vision CEO: Crypto Adoption to Eclipse Internet Growth
Apr 17, 2024 at 10:00 pm
Co-founder and CEO of Real Vision, Raoul Pal, predicts massive adoption of cryptocurrencies, surpassing the internet's growth rate. Pal estimates that the industry could reach one billion users by 2025 and a market cap of $12 trillion by the end of the current bull cycle. He suggests that the adoption rate is an indicator of a digital asset's bullish potential and identifies Sui, Aptos, and Cosmos as promising candidates for an altcoin bull run.

Raoul Pal, the Co-founder and CEO of Real Vision, Projects Crypto Adoption to Surpass Internet
Renowned financial expert Raoul Pal has expressed unwavering optimism about the future of cryptocurrencies, predicting their adoption rates to outpace even the meteoric rise of the internet.
Appearing on the Bankless YouTube channel, Pal elaborated on his earlier assertion that cryptocurrency adoption is growing twice as fast as the internet. He clarified that this calculation considers the number of wallet addresses and IP addresses, respectively, as indicators of adoption.
Pal revealed that current estimates suggest approximately 550 million people use cryptocurrencies. However, he believes this figure underrepresents the true extent of adoption, arguing that it should focus on "active wallet addresses" rather than simply crypto users.
Pal's analysis delved into the diverse use cases of cryptocurrencies, asserting that the entire financial system will eventually transition to "tokenized rails." He emphasized that this adoption process will unfold gradually as the crypto sector matures and enhances its security measures.
The Real Vision CEO predicts that crypto adoption could reach one billion users by the end of 2025. Furthermore, Pal projects the industry's overall market capitalization to soar to $12 trillion during the current bull cycle and an astronomical $100 trillion by the end of the 3032 cycle.
Pal stressed that the adoption rate of cryptocurrencies serves as a reliable indicator of their future bullish potential. Citing Solana (SOL) as an example, he highlighted its exponential growth to new all-time highs during the previous crypto bull run in 2021. This surge was primarily attributed to Solana's rapid adoption by investors and users.
While acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding which altcoins would lead the upcoming bull run, Pal emphasized that those with the highest adoption rates are the most promising contenders. He identified cryptocurrencies such as Sui (SUI), Aptos (APT), and Cosmos (ATOM) as potential candidates for an altcoin bull run.
Pal also noted that the crypto market is currently transitioning into its summer period, during which Bitcoin is expected to reach new highs before its dominance wanes, signaling the onset of altcoin season.
In conclusion, Raoul Pal's bold predictions for the future of cryptocurrencies are founded on a combination of data-driven analysis and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of blockchain technology. As the crypto industry continues to evolve and gain wider acceptance, its integration into the global financial system appears increasingly inevitable.
