Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson wins the toss and elects to field, Mitchell Owen and Xavier Bartlett get the nod

Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and put faith in his "powerhouse" batting line-up by choosing to set a total. There were some changes to that XI that's been putting up those big runs with Marcus Stoinis and Josh Inglis still to return to the IPL. In their absence, BBL winner, with a century in the final this season, Mitchell Owen, and fast bowler Xavier Bartlett get a go.
Punjab Kings will continue their pursuit of a first-ever IPL title when they take on Rajasthan Royals in the first match of the second leg of IPL 2023 on Sunday.
The two sides met in the first leg of the tournament in April, with PBKS emerging victorious by 12 runs. Both teams come into this match in good form, with PBKS winning their last three matches and RR winning their last two.

Rajasthan Royals have made two changes to their XI, with Nitish Rana making way for the return of Sanju Samson, who will bat at no. 4.
The other change sees Jofra Archer being replaced by Kwena Maphaka.
Confirming the changes, Samson said at the toss: "We want to bowl first. Small adjustment in the batting order with Suryavanshi opening the innings and Samson batting at no. 4. The pitch is expected to be a bit slow like it was in the last game."
