QuLang: A French team takes on the world at the Qubic 2025 Hackathon

During the Qubic 2025 Hackathon in Madrid, a French team has distinguished itself among the world's top talents. Known as QuLang and supported by Frekaz Group, this delegation delved for 48 hours into the demanding world of Qubic, balancing technical intensity, team spirit, and decentralized ambition.

A total immersion in the Qubic ecosystem

March 2025, Madrid. The Spanish capital hosted one of the most anticipated blockchain events of the year: the Qubic Hackathon.

For 48 non-stop hours, the world's best developers competed in a race against time to design innovative applications on this new decentralized infrastructure.

Among the participants: QuLang, a multidisciplinary French team determined to compete with the world's tech elite. At its head, a pitcher tasked with defending the project vision, supported by a lead engineer, a technical manager, and several junior developers.

Their mission? To dominate Qubic's testnet, an experimental version of the network designed to encourage boldness and rapid prototyping. No small efforts: from the first hours, the team adopted a clear strategy - understand, build, iterate.

"The hardest part is staying clear-headed without sleep. But that's when you see who truly cares about their idea," said a member of Frekaz Group, with dark circles under his eyes but a sharp mind.

The stakes were high: 80,000 euros in rewards, split between 20,000 euros in cash and 60,000 euros in development support. But beyond the prize pool, it was the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a next-generation protocol that motivated the team.

An innovative solution at the crossroads of AI and blockchain

The project designed by QuLang fits into a broader trend: the strategic union between artificial intelligence and decentralized technologies.

The team's flagship idea? To create a decentralized marketplace where AI model providers could offer their services directly to users, bypassing the centralized web giants.

Concretely, the application envisioned relies on Qubic smart contracts to manage interactions, provider remuneration, and the quality of services rendered. The testnet provided them an ideal playground to experiment with a first functional version of this new kind of market.

Throughout the hackathon, the team combined pragmatism and boldness. "We had dozens of ideas, but had to focus on the essentials to deliver something solid in 48 hours," explained a group member.

This sense of priorities allowed them to stay focused while keeping a clear vision of the product's goal.

At the end of the marathon, the final presentation took place in an electrifying atmosphere. Tired but united, the QuLang members delivered a clear and convincing pitch.

The Frekaz Group team brilliantly represented France by securing third place at the Qubic 2025 Hackathon. A performance that confirms the emergence of an ambitious French Tech at the intersection of AI and blockchain.
