PUBG Crossplay: Everything You Need to Know About Cross-Platform Play

Playing PUBG is more enjoyable  when you’re surrounded with friends, and you’ll need some of the crossplay magic if your squad mates are on different gaming platforms. PUBG’s crossplay functions bridged a few gaps, but it still leaves a lot to be desired.

PUBG crossplay is available, but it's limited to PlayStation and Xbox consoles. This means you can't play PUBG cross-platform with PC players. The main reason for this is balance concerns, as PC and console players use different input methods.

Other battle royale titles have introduced full crossplay support throughout their lifecycle, but PUBG has stood its ground on this matter, keeping console and PC players separate from each other.

If you're planning on playing PUBG on multiple platforms, you should be mindful of your G-Coin spending in the game because your skins and cosmetics won't carry over to other platforms.

Although the community expected PUBG to release an update and add such features down the line, it hasn't been on the developer’s radar so far.

PUBG Mobile crossplay is available within its own ecosystem, allowing iOS and Android users to play together. This is a built-in feature in PUBG Mobile, so you'll have players from both platforms in every match.

However, PUBG Mobile is not crossplay compatible with PC, Xbox, or PS5 because it's technically an entirely different game.

PUBG servers and PUBG Mobile servers are different from each other, and the two games are independent, which also shows when it comes to the separate events organized throughout the year.
