May 08, 2025 at 09:30 am
Pi Network, the renowned cryptocurrency platform, is set to make a significant presence at Consensus 2025, one of the largest international crypto events, to be held in Toronto from May 14 to 16.
Organized by CoinDesk, the event will bring together over 6,800 companies, 400 startups, and attendees from more than 100 countries for three days of networking, learning, and technical discussions.
The Pi Core Team will be showcasing its Open Mainnet, which launched in February. With over 55 million users and thousands of decentralized applications, Pi Network’s mobile-first architecture provides a unique approach to blockchain technology.
Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis, the Pi Network founder, is scheduled to speak at the event, marking the platform’s first official presentation at a global blockchain conference.
His session will provide technical details on Pi Network’s infrastructure and its strategy for enabling decentralized access to a billion users.
The event’s scale and varied attendees align perfectly with Pi Network’s commitment to industry-scale engagement.
While no funding announcements have been confirmed, the structure of Consensus 2025 facilitates discussions with key investors, product teams, and platform builders.
The Pi Core Team will also be using the event to provide updates on its developer tools and ecosystem support.
Project representatives are expected to join several technical forums, where open blockchain platforms and mobile-first networks will be discussed.
The project’s official roadmap, developer programs, and Mainnet status will guide its discussions during the event.
Stay tuned for more updates on Pi Network’s presence at Consensus 2025 as the event draws nearer.
