PEPE and FLOKI Positioned to Lead the Meme Coin Super-cycle in 2025
Nov 11, 2024 at 12:02 am
With 2025 on the horizon, investors are gearing up for another meme coin season, with PEPE and FLOKI positioned as potential winners.

As 2025 approaches, investors are anticipating another wave of meme coins, with PEPE and FLOKI emerging as potential frontrunners. Both coins have formed bullish flag patterns on their weekly charts, indicating an upcoming breakout. But which coin will ultimately deliver the best returns?
With the crypto market embracing meme coins, many analysts anticipate a “meme coin super-cycle” in 2025. While Dogecoin (DOGE) has typically led the pack, PEPE and FLOKI could be close behind. The question remains: which coin will multiply the most by the end of this cycle?
Rising Anticipation in Meme Coin Projects
Both PEPE and FLOKI are displaying bullish flag formations on their weekly charts, suggesting potential upward momentum after a period of consolidation. On PEPE’s chart, higher lows as the flag pattern tightens indicate increasing buying pressure, potentially setting it up for a stronger breakout. Similarly, FLOKI shows higher lows, though with less pronounced price fluctuations, suggesting a more gradual accumulation phase.
Examining PEPE’s volume and price movement, the initial upward surge appears sharper than FLOKI’s, indicating a more robust breakout setup. This initial jump has gained significant market attention, giving PEPE a possible near-term advantage.
While FLOKI holders with balances over $10 million have increased, PEPE continues to attract stronger attention. According to IntoTheBlock, FLOKI’s wallet balances have increased by 27.58% over the past month, indicating either accumulation or valuation gains. Other FLOKI ownership categories also saw increases, with balances between $1 million and $10 million rising by 4.89%.
Additionally, smaller FLOKI holdings increased, with a 2.40% rise for balances between $10,000 and $100,000 and a 2.33% increase for holdings in the $100 to $10,000 range.
Meanwhile, PEPE’s adoption rate has remained relatively unchanged over the last month, averaging at 30.79%, peaking at 33.59%, and dipping to 26.73%. FLOKI’s adoption rate has also remained stable but has yet to reach the levels seen by PEPE. Despite fluctuations in PEPE’s price, this stability in adoption could indicate potential for future price stability or growth.
Top Contender Analysis
Both meme coins show promise, but some analysts suggest that PEPE’s market dynamics—including a sharper initial breakout and higher adoption rates—may position it to potentially outshine FLOKI in the upcoming meme coin cycle.
