"Now this particular one was produced at the Philadelphia Mint," the TikToker said. "It features no mint mark in this area which indicates that it's a Philidelphia stuck example."

But the TikToker then explained why this particular penny was such a rare find.

"Don't let this coin fool you," he said.

This penny has a coin grade of MS-67 red, meaning it retains at least 95% of its original mint red color.

Coins graded MS-67 are considered to be some of the finest classic US coins, with original luster and above-average eye appeal.

"Where this particular coin shines has everything to do with the overall condition of the coin. This is one of those coins that didn't really fare too well," he added. "There are 20 of them available out there in the market."

He said this coin sells for over $9,000 because of its rarity.

"Lincoln cents are insane right now," the TikToker said.
