National Coin Week is recognized in the third week of April, which falls on April 21-27 in 2024, according to National Day Calendar.

What is National Coin Week?

National Coin Week celebrates collecting coins, paper money and all things numismatics, meaning "of coins." Numismatics refers to the study or collection of currency including coins, tokens, paper money, etc. The first National Coin Week first took place in February of 1924. Sponsored by the American Numismatic Association, the week was eventually moved to the third week of April in 1942.
