How Many Ondo (ONDO) Tokens to Become a Millionaire?

A new week begins with a look at how many of the $ONDO token it takes to become a millionaire. We last examined this as part of our Millionaire series back in February. At that time, we considered a few prices, including some scenarios if everything works out perfectly and RWA grows into the trillions as expected. Those scenarios have Ondo in the tens of dollars, while its current price is $1.03.

What Is Ondo?

Ondo is a leading protocol for Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization. It's currently the biggest RWA protocol in crypto and has key partners like BlackRock and Mastercard. Ondo's mission is to bring trillions of dollars of assets on-chain to unlock liquidity and create new financial opportunities.

Its flagship product is a yield-bearing stablecoin called USDY, which is backed by a portfolio of U.S. Treasury bonds. Ondo’s USDY offers competitive interest rates and low volatility, making it an attractive investment for institutions and individuals.

At the beginning of the year, we examined how quickly BUIDL Fund's TVL is growing. It's no small feat to go from $2 billion to $9 billion in less than 4 months. But that's exactly what BUIDL Fund achieved, showcasing the incredible speed at which RWA protocols are developing in 2025.

As the sector continues to expand rapidly, we're curious to see how many $ONDO tokens it takes to become a millionaire at today's prices.

How Many $ONDO Tokens Make a Millionaire?

To reach millionaire status with $ONDO at today's prices, you would need 970,873 tokens. This calculation is based on the current price of $1.03 for $ONDO.

However, if we consider a price point of $5, which seems achievable this cycle, then you would need 200,000 $ONDO tokens to become a millionaire. Considering the current total value locked (TVL) and the potential for further growth, this scenario seems realistic.

Let's take a broader view. At its current market cap of $3.2 billion, if Ondo performs a 10x, its value will be comparable to $DOGE's at $32 billion. This would translate to a price of $10, and you would require 100,000 $ONDO tokens to reach millionaire status.

Now, if we move up to the sixth-largest cryptocurrency, which is Solana with a market value of $89 billion, at today's prices, you would need 35,714 $ONDO tokens or $36,785 at an average price to become a millionaire.

Could Ondo's price go even higher, perhaps to $50 or $100 or more? If RWA fulfills its promise and we begin tokenizing everything—stocks, bonds, currencies, and real estate—then yes, it's certainly possible. However, these extremely high valuations and price points seem like a scenario that's at least one or two cycles away, despite our bullish outlook on this project.
