Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) made headlines this week after announcing a landmark agreement with Saudi Arabia's AI-focused investment initiative, HUMAIN.

The deal includes the delivery of hundreds of thousands of GPUs over the next five years, notably featuring 18,000 of Nvidia's next-gen GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputers, among the most advanced in the world.

Nvidia's Deal Spurs Interest in Crypto AI Coins

The deal will see Nvidia deliver hundreds of thousands of GPUs and 18,000 of its next-gen GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputers over the next five years.

"NVIDIA will strengthen the nation’s computing ecosystem and train thousands of developers with the skills to solve complex challenges with accelerated computing and AI," the company said in a statement.

The $10 billion project will also involve building a massive 500-megawatt AI data center in Saudi Arabia.

The move comes as the U.S. and Saudi Arabia have been engaging in broader AI collaborations in the region.

President Donald Trump secured commitments of $600 billion for U.S. companies during his tour of Gulf states, where he discussed the role of technology in boosting economic cooperation.

Nvidia Shares Soar

Following the announcement, Nvidia shares surged 6.93% on Tuesday, closing at $132.69 and pushing the company’s market capitalization to nearly $3.2 trillion.

The stock opened higher on Wednesday at $132.73, continuing to display investor enthusiasm.

Crypto AI Sector Rallies

In response, the crypto market's AI and Big Data segment rallied, with the sector growing 5.35%, according to CoinMarketCap. The total market cap of AI-linked crypto projects reached $39.85 billion, according to the same source.

The biggest gainer was TRUMP GROK, a meme coin blending Donald Trump's brand with AI themes. It skyrocketed more than 425% in 24 hours, likely fueled by both Trump-related headlines and the broader AI hype.

Among coins with more technical focus, Render Network (RNDR), which directly utilizes Nvidia GPUs for decentralized AI rendering, saw an increase of 1.6%.

Theta Network (THETA), concentrating on decentralized video and AI infrastructure, climbed 2.4%.

However, not all coins benefited. Bittensor (TAO), a decentralized AI network, slipped 2.45% to $454.4, showing that the rally didn't affect all crypto AI coins equally.

As Nvidia strengthens its position as a leader in global AI infrastructure, crypto projects that use its GPUs are becoming popular investments among retail investors seeking to capitalize on the burgeoning AI growth.
