Notcoin Unveils Currency Conversion Rate Ahead of Launch on The Open Network
Apr 12, 2024 at 11:01 am
As Notcoin prepares for its imminent launch on The Open Network, anticipation pervades the gaming community. With just over a week until go-live, the token's conversion rate from in-game currency to blockchain-based tokens has been unveiled, simplifying the exchange process and paving the way for a transformative era of player engagement.

Notcoin Unveils Conversion Rate for In-Game Currency Ahead of Imminent Launch on The Open Network
In anticipation of the highly anticipated launch of Notcoin on The Open Network (TON) scheduled for April 20th, the developers have released crucial details regarding the conversion process for in-game currency into blockchain-based tokens.
Simplifying the Token Exchange: Conversion Rate Revealed
The Notcoin team has disclosed the conversion rate that will be employed to transform players' accumulated in-game coins into on-chain tokens. This conversion mechanism aims to streamline the token exchange process, enabling players to seamlessly transition their in-game earnings onto the blockchain.
According to the conversion rate, every 1,000 in-game coins will be converted into a single Notcoin. Players who have mined ten million coins will receive 10,000 on-chain tokens. Similarly, a player who has mined 532,487 in-game coins will receive 532.487 NOT.
This conversion effectively shifts the decimal point three positions to the left. It ensures that all players receive equal value for their in-game earnings, eliminating concerns about receiving fewer tokens due to the conversion.
Token Distribution and Emission
The Notcoin team estimates that a total of 102,719,221,714 NOT tokens will be minted. Of this total supply, approximately 80.2 billion NOT will be allocated to players and miners. Additionally, 22.5 billion NOT, partially donated by players to an ecosystem fund, will be designated for in-game token rewards, future development, and other initiatives.
Enhanced Security and Gameplay Incentives
In preparation for the launch, Notcoin has implemented rigorous security measures to eliminate suspicious accounts suspected of using automated bots and scripts to manipulate gameplay.
Furthermore, developer Open Builders has outlined an innovative gameplay model that allows external projects to purchase NOT tokens on the open market and deposit them into the game. This mechanism enables players to earn crypto rewards by interacting with the content of these projects.
This model represents an evolution of the game's previous format, where players earned in-game coins by following Telegram channels, Twitter accounts, and visiting project websites. Companies will now have the opportunity to gain exposure to Notcoin's vast player base of 35 million, with a portion of their payments allocated to the NOT treasury and a portion burned permanently, reducing the overall Notcoin supply.
To maintain player engagement and introduce variety to the gameplay experience, Notcoin plans to introduce monthly "experiences," including the deployment of new meme tokens.
Pre-Market Voucher Surge
In the lead-up to the token launch, pre-market Notcoin vouchers have experienced a significant surge in value. NFT vouchers representing 10 million in-game coins (or 10,000 TON tokens) have seen their value increase from approximately $50 worth of Toncoin (TON) on April 11th to around $90-$100.
Conclusion
The launch of Notcoin on April 20th, coinciding with the Bitcoin halving, marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the game and the broader crypto space. The conversion rate, token distribution, security enhancements, and gameplay innovations are carefully designed to foster player engagement, simplify token exchange, and enhance the overall user experience. With the anticipation building within the gaming community, the Notcoin launch is poised to revolutionize the way players interact with games and earn crypto rewards.
