Nicholas Pinto managed to earn more than $360,000 in President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency and was invited to attend a special dinner

During the dinner, however, the 25-year-old was not thrilled with the food that was served.
Nicholas Pinto, a 25-year-old who managed to earn more than $360,000 in President Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency and was invited to attend a special dinner with the 47th president last week, was not thrilled with the food that was served, according to Fortune.
As the banquet at Trump’s Virginia golf club, which brought together the top holders of $TRUMP memecoins, occurred, Pinto texted Fortune that the food was “trash” and that one of the entrees was a “Walmart steak.”
The menu at the dinner included a “Trump organic field green salad,” filet mignon and pan-seared halibut, the outlet reported.
“Everyone at my table was saying the food was some of the worst food that they ever had,” Pinto told the outlet. “I was hoping for either Big Macs or pizza. That would have been better than the food that we were served.”
The president launched $TRUMP on Jan. 17, and as of Friday, one $TRUMP coin is equal to $12.74, according to coinbase.com.
The initiative has faced criticism from Democratic members of Congress, including Sen. Chris Murphy, D-CT, and Sen. Adam Schiff, D-CA, who accused Trump of selling access to people who would pay him money.
The Connecticut senator, in a video on X, called the event “unbelievably illegal.”
“Donald Trump makes money off of every single transaction,” Murphy said. “So, these individuals who have bought thousands, tens of thousands, millions of dollars worth of memecoin have put a lot of money into Donald Trump’s pocket.”
Pinto told the outlet that Trump did appear and gave a speech, but guests did not get one-on-one time with the president.
“Pretty much like (expletive) Pinto said of the speech.
Another unnamed source told NBC News that Trump essentially made the speech and then left the event.
“He helicoptered in, he helicoptered out,” the source said. “We didn’t really get to shake hands with him or anything but it was a really interesting group of crypto people all in the same room … It’s about what I expected. I got the chance to be pretty close to the president when he was giving his speech.”
