Cross-chain aggregator Unizen has announced that it will allocate 246 million ZCX tokens to its destruction and airdrop plan. This amount is roughly equivalent to 36% of the circulating supply, and the project will use it to reward community members for participating in engagement activities and phase in future initiatives.

Squads completes $10 million Series A financing

Solana-based multi-signature protocol Squads has completed a $10 million Series A financing round, with Electric Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Placeholder VC, RockawayX, L1 Digital and Helius co-founder and CEO and Odyssey Ventures founder Mert Mumtaz participating in the financing round. The company had previously raised $12.5 million in three prior funding rounds.

Polkadot (DOT Coin) allocates $14.4 million to Hydration

DeFi project Hydration, part of the Polkadot (DOT Coin) ecosystem, has announced that it has received 2 million DOT Coins from the Polkadot treasury. This sum is equivalent to $14.4 million and will be used specifically to enhance the liquidity and trading efficiency of Hydration’s liquidity provision platform, Omnipool. Polkadot will allocate 1 million DOT Coins over the year to attract new liquidity into its ecosystem.

Moreover, the initial rewards for liquidity providers (LPs) will exceed the 200% APY cap, and thanks to Hydration Omnopool’s one-sided LP design, users will start receiving rewards after providing a single asset and joining the incentive farm. Incentive assets include native stablecoins DOT, BTC and various ecosystem tokens. The remaining 1 million DOT Coins will be injected directly into Hydration Omnipool itself to aid in the creation of a robust and accessible native liquidity layer.

Wintermute transfers a massive ARB to Binance

Major market maker Wintermute has deposited $2 million worth of Arbitrum (ARB) on Binance. The deposits were made by three wallets, and as you’ve been following on Kriptokoin.com, the market maker recently withdrew these tokens from Coinbase. This transfer is seen as a strategy by Wintermute to influence ARB’s liquidity and market presence on Binance. According to analysts, this move could lead to a downward movement in the AR price.

ZkSync introduces ZK Nation

An Ethereum Layer-2 network developed by Matter Labs, ZkSync has introduced a new community-driven governance system called ZK Nation. “ZK Nation is a community driven by a common purpose to govern, defend and grow the zkSync protocol,” reads an excerpt from the ZK Nation introduction. In the meantime, the project stated in the announcement that it will adopt a new governance system to maintain the project’s decentralization guarantees.
