Nansen Acquires StakeWithUs Staking Service to Expand Its Analytics Platform
Sep 10, 2024 at 09:38 pm
Nansen, a blockchain analytics firm, has announced its acquisition of StakeWithUs, a Singapore-based staking service provider, to broaden its range of services.

blockchain analytics firm Nansen has announced its latest acquisition: StakeWithUs, a Singapore-based staking service provider. This move is set to expand Nansen's range of services, particularly in the realm of retail and institutional investment.
According to a press release shared with Cointelegraph, the acquisition will enhance Nansen's ability to offer a comprehensive platform catering to the diverse needs of these investors.
In a written Q&A with Cointelegraph, Alex Svanevik, the CEO of Nansen, elaborated on the new unified platform, stating that users will be empowered to "stake their tokens seamlessly with our validators across 20+ blockchains."
Highlighting StakeWithUs's capabilities, the press release mentions its support from SGInnovate and its role in facilitating secure staking services across multiple blockchain networks. This service will now be integrated directly onchain on Nansen's platform.
When queried about the new staking opportunities, Svanevik confirmed, "Yes, users will be able to stake their assets directly onchain through the Nansen platform."
Beyond the recent acquisition, Nansen's presence in the blockchain industry extends to its role as one of the first validators for Berachain's mainnet, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible layer-1 blockchain. This marks a significant milestone for the analytics firm.
On the topic of staking and potential plans for restaking in the future, Svanevik clarified, "We have no plans for restaking at the moment."
However, the firm does intend to expand the list of non-custodial staking options, adding support for additional tokens based on user demand and market trends.
In related news, Nansen recently launched the industry's first Ether (ETH) ETF analytics dashboard, aiming to provide investors with comprehensive insights into the emerging exchange-traded fund market.
Moreover, the analytics firm has partnered with the layer-1 blockchain Aptos to offer its users onchain analytical tools, aiming to bolster the ecosystem's growth and empower users with valuable insights.
Despite this collaboration, blockchain detective ZachXBT has critiqued Aptos's blockchain explorer capabilities, describing them as "not great" and highlighting his observation of Aptos Foundation employees liking his comment.
