Murad Mahmudov: Meme Cryptocurrencies Will Outperform Everything This Cycle

Murad Mahmudov, a prominent financial analyst, recently stressed that those who are looking for the next XRP or Cardano (ADA) should pay attention to meme cryptocurrencies.

Murad Mahmudov, a prominent financial analyst, recently highlighted the potential of meme cryptocurrencies for those seeking the next XRP or Cardano (ADA).

According to Mahmudov, this sector boasts "die-hard" cult communities capable of generating substantial gains for early projects.

Earlier this month, Mahmudov outlined his "crypto investing philosophy" for the current bullish cycle. He advised investors to prioritize meme cryptocurrencies with market caps ranging from $5 million to $200 million, while avoiding microcaps.

In his view, promising meme coins should be held for over a year, with a genuine belief in their longevity beyond a single cycle.

"Memecoins will outperform EVERYTHING this cycle. Don’t hate the Player, hate the Game," Mahmudov wrote on his social media account.

However, he also emphasized the irrational nature of meme coins, advising investors to "throw all logic out the window" when selecting specific tokens and to rely solely on their gut feeling.

Despite his bullish outlook on meme coins, Mahmudov recently predicted that there will not be a prolonged altcoin season like the one witnessed in 2021.

He attributed this to the depletion of excess savings among US households, which may lead to a reduced appetite for risky assets like altcoins.

Meanwhile, some major meme coins have registered notable gains over the last 24 hours.

Mog Coin (MOG) and BOOK OF MEME (BOME) are leading the surge with double-digit price gains. Bonk (BONK) is also up nearly 8%.

Among the more established meme coins, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) have recorded relatively modest gains of 3.1% and 1.7%, respectively.
