Microsoft has integrated real-time blockchain data into its Fabric platform through a partnership with Space and Time, a ZK sync Chain.
The integration, announced on Monday, allows developers using Microsoft Fabric to access indexed and verifiable blockchain data from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Sui networks.
The move aims to simplify enterprise adoption of blockchain technology by providing trustless, queryable data for business applications.
"Enterprises can now seamlessly integrate blockchain data into their internal systems, unlocking new possibilities for cross-chain interoperability and collaboration," said Sam Nazari, CEO and founder of Space and Time.
"We are excited to partner with Space and Time to bring this valuable integration to Microsoft Fabric," added John Gallo, principal program manager at Microsoft.
"Our goal is to empower developers with the tools they need to build the next generation of blockchain applications."
Sui Network, one of the blockchains included, has now made its full chain history accessible to Microsoft's developer ecosystem.
This integration marks a significant step towards mainstream adoption of blockchain technology.
In other news, OKX has launched xBTC, a token fully backed 1:1 by Bitcoin reserves held in custody by OKX.
The token is available on Solana, Sui, and Aptos blockchains, unlocking lending, rewards, and decentralized finance (DeFi) opportunities.
"We are excited to launch xBTC on three major blockchains, expanding the possibilities for Bitcoin use cases and interoperability," said Ben Zhou, CEO of OKX.
"We aim to provide efficient and innovative solutions for the Web3 community."
BTCx is a new initiative focused on interoperability and cross-chain usability, aiming to bring the benefits of Bitcoin to a broader audience.
