Microsoft Fabric is adding Space and Time (SXT) Labs to enable customers to access live and trusted data from the blockchain in Azure OneLake. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Sui are the first blockchains that will be fully supported.
As a result of this collaboration, enterprises using Microsoft Fabric can now use ZK impermeable blockchain data across their applications and analytics.
Making it easier to access secure data on blockchains
The ZK-proof technology of Proof of SQL helps Space and Time blockchain to index actions, verify their accuracy and provide tamperproof data that can be accessed rapidly. Developers in Microsoft Fabric can access the data to support uses such as smart contracts, dashboards and AI models.
“We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Microsoft to provide verifiable blockchain data to enterprises, institutions, and developers building on Fabric. This integration enables a wealth of new data-driven use cases across financial services, Web3 apps, and AI to be built on Microsoft technology,” said Nate Holiday, CEO of Space and Time Labs.
Supported by the investment unit of Microsoft
The new development reflects how closely Microsoft is connected with Space and Time. M12 participated in the funding round for Knight, contributing $20 million after having invested strategically in the company a year earlier.
“By integrating with Microsoft Fabric, Space and Time not only expands our ability to serve developers and enterprises with reliable data but also aligns with our mission to democratize technology across diverse industries, including Web3. This integration underscores our commitment to providing tools that enhance productivity and drive innovation at a global scale,” said Sruly Taber, Principal Product Manager, Microsoft Fabric at Microsoft.
Developers are creating applications in Web3 and AI for new purposes
Now, users of Microsoft Fabric can use blockchain datasets that are trustworthy, operate on several chains and can be used with AI, perfect for running data-rich software in finance, games, identities, rules and additional industries.
By using Space and Time’s Proof of SQL, AI agents and smart contracts can reliably query data stored either online or offline. Now, you can easily manage and securely process data on a large scale with Microsoft analytics.
An introduction to the Space and Time Labs
The company Space and Time Labs developed and mainly contributed to the Space and Time (SXT) multichain project which uses ZK technology. Because SXT Chain supports smart contracts, enterprise software and AI, it is specifically built to supply verifiable data services across many users. Proving the correctness of data in only seconds, Proof of SQL acts as a top-notch coprocessor that links onchain instructions to offchain information accurately and safely.
International enterprises, banks and developers rely on Space and Time which is supported by Microsoft’s M12 Ventures and keeps finding new uses for blockchain data.
