Michael Saylor Predicts Bitcoin Could Hit $49M by 2045

Recent bold predictions by Michael Saylor on the future of bitcoin have sparked discussions within the crypto community. In a conversation between Scott Melker, host of The Wolf Of All Streets podcast, and Altcoin Daily host Austin Arnold, they delved into the possibility of bitcoin reaching $49 million by 2045.

Melker initiated the discussion by highlighting Saylor's striking forecast: that by 2045, the price of bitcoin could range from $3 million to a staggering $49 million, with a mid-point estimate of around $13 million. Melker noted the grandiosity of such predictions and the market's fascination with hyperbolic price forecasts.

Arnold shared his perspective, emphasizing Saylor's status as a highly knowledgeable figure in both tech and crypto. He highlighted that Saylor's predictions are backed by data and that bitcoin reaching $13 million per coin is not a matter of if, but rather when.

Arnold pointed out the inevitable devaluation of fiat currencies, especially the USD, which drives bitcoin's value up in comparison. He highlighted the alarming statistic that 40% of all USD ever printed was created in the last four years, indicating the government's proclivity to print more money to prop up markets. This fiscal irresponsibility, Arnold argued, will propel bitcoin to rise significantly.

Melker went on to mention other notable predictions, such as Cathie Wood's forecast of bitcoin reaching $1 million by 2030. Arnold responded by sharing his belief that bitcoin could hit $500,000 per coin within the next decade, aligning its market cap with gold. He suggested that if bitcoin were to reach $1 million, it would indicate severe macroeconomic issues.
